New G.M. for B.T.I.A.
The Belize Tourism Industry Association has a new General Manager. Kim Simplis, who joined the organisation last year as marketing and membership director, was promoted to the top spot. Simplis has experience in the hotel business, both in Belize and abroad, and is expected to work closely with district chapters as well as the Tourism Board. The B.T.I.A. is Belize’s oldest and largest private sector tourism organisation.
