Two dangerous convicts escape prison
Police and Prison Officers are mounting an all-out manhunt for two dangerous convicts who escaped from Hattieville Prison. They are twenty-year old Guatemalan Juan Ramirez who is serving a life sentence for murder, and sixteen-year old Belizean, Carlos Duarte, on remand for murder. According to a Prison Department press release, on Sunday night the two men, along with another prisoner, Elvis Rosado, escaped from their cells by cutting the bars. While climbing the fence towards freedom, Rosado got hung up on the barbed wire and was shot by guards in the shoulder before being subdued by prison dogs. His two colleagues were luckier and are still on the loose. The men are considered extremely dangerous and the public is asked to be on the lookout. Both are described as being of Hispanic descent and of medium build. Ramirez is five-nine and Duarte five-three.
