John Saldivar: “Not a corrupt bone in my body!!! Me dah God Pickney!!!”

The man in the eye of the storm here in Belize is John Birchman Saldivar. The Minister of National Security took to social media today saying that he stands proud. He said that, “Imagine the amount of people who are conspiring from outside my Party and from inside my Party to see me fail. Naw go happen sah. Not a corrupt bone in my body. Me dah God pickney.”  Saldivar has maintained that he did not receive the twenty-five thousand dollars monthly from Dermen or his associates. Today, Kareem Musa called out Saldivar to face the media.

“Let us be real here guys, we are talking about someone who is vying for the highest position in this land whose name has been called. He should be the first person, if he is innocent of everything, he should be the first person to say ‘I will go to Utah myself and I will go in front o a judge and I will prove my innocence. He should not be sending out these very vague press releases. So this gentleman whose name has been called has a lot to answer for. For us to all just ignore it and be we can’t find the man, make we no ask he no questions. Then he had a February ninth convention, imagine that. And the day after the tenth he is suppose to become our Prime Minister but yet there is all this cloud of controversy over him and he can’t even talk to the media.”
