“Communities are important in the work that we do. It is very important to be engaged actively and very involved because I have seen it and believe that involving them brings about positive change in conservation. How are the farms? How are the communities? It makes me feel good that some of these young people back then that attended summer camps, the expo and even myself going and presenting to them talking about agro-forestry, talking about what threatened our area, natural resources. Some of them really got inspired and went on studying natural resources management. It makes me want to continue to do what I am doing.”
