Alexis Salazar, Director, Museum of Belize
“If you recall, last year, we signed an M.O.U. with the Embassy of Cuba to do cultural exchanges and so on so this is a part of that M.O.U. Secondly, we had a graffiti fest in Corozal and we brought in a Cuban artist, Alejandro Falco and he did training in Corozal with young graphic artist and so on. And then the third thing is the diplomatic relations between Cuba and Belize. So it’s a celebration of twenty-five year anniversary of Cuba and Belize having bilateral relations, the sixty-first anniversary of the Cuban revolution and of course the M.O.U. that we have with the Cuban Embassy.”
