Alleged Killer is Charged; Kajoan Tony Roches was Not Intended Target

Police have arrested and charged one man for the shooting murder of Kajoan Tony Roches. Today, Adrian Claude Swasey appeared before the court where he was charged with a single count of murder.  He was denied bail and remanded until May fourth.  Roches was shot and killed in Belize City on Thursday night.  Today, police told the press that the deadly bullet was not meant for Roches, but for another man who was in the area.

“From what we understand and what the investigation is telling us is that Roches was not the target but it was someone else who was along with them.”
