2 Men Charged with Murder For Separate Killings in Corozal

On Tuesday, we reported that two men were charged for separate killings that happened in Concepcion Village in the Corozal District.  Today, Senior Superintendent of Police Hilberto Romero shared details of the charges and what the investigation has uncovered about the motives behind the killings.

“Reference the murder of Juan Mendez that occurred in Concepcion Village; police have since arrested and charged Diego Correa for the crime of murder. In reference to the murder of Daniel Cano, which also occurred in Concepcion village, police arrested and charged Jesus Monteroso also for the crime of murder. This was done after consultation with the D.P.P.”
