PC Erwin & Ronny Hernandez Get Bail
Police Constable Erwin Hernandez of Corozal Town, charged with Keeping a Firearm and Ammunition Without a Gun License, was also lucky to get bail today when he appeared before Justice Antoinette Moore. Hernandez is charged along with his brother, Ronny Hernandez, a construction worker of Halls Layout, Corozal. The charge against them originates from an incident when Police searched the roof of a building at the Corozal Free Zone where the brothers were socialising on February sixth, which yielded a stolen gun. The brothers were granted bail in the sum of ten thousand dollars each. PC Hernandez was ushered through the back door of the Supreme Court by his fellow police officers to avoid getting captured on camera, while his brother was escorted through the front to await their papers for bail to be processed.
