Limited Information on the Murder of Robert Nunez
Police say that they are no closer to finding out what happened to Robert Nunez. He was found dead near the western border on Wednesday night just before eleven. Cops say he was drinking in Champon and that is the last information that they have on him. Here’s what police shared on the official details they have gathered.

“Benque Viejo Police responded to reports of a body that was found in Benque Viejo. Police visited the area where they found the decomposed body of Robert Nunez in an area about one hundred and fifty yards away from the highway. Investigation was carried out which revealed that this individual was reported missing by his family and thereafter he was found at that location. The information is that he was seen in the Champon area drinking with two Hispanic male persons and thereafter his whereabouts are unknown.”

“Sir, is there any information at all to assist investigators to find out what happened to him?”

“There is limited information; that is the only information that we have gathered. That he was with these two persons drinking and thereafter we found his body. That is all the information we have.”

“Have you been able to determine if he was killed in Belize or across border?”

“We are not sure where he was killed. The post-mortem will reveal other information as we go along.”
