A message from the P.U.P. has also been issued. Leader, John Briceño expresses condolences and pays tribute to the men who died in service to the country. The P.U.P. states that further information is needed on what transpired and calls on the Ministry of National Security to conduct an independent and thorough investigation with the help of international experts. This, it says, will serve to assist the families and the nation in understanding the most tragic B.D.F. airwing accident in the history of Belize. Deeply affected by the loss of life in the ranks of the force, the Ministry of National Security also paid tribute to their own.
