Kidnapping-Related Charges Levied in Orange Walk

Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted kidnapping. Police say one of the assailants, Luis Urbina, has a long charge sheet of similar charges. Urbina had also escaped from police custody but was recaptured. Senior Superintendent Hilberto Romero shares the details.

“Police have since arrested and charged Dandy Urbina and Luis Urbina, jointly for the charges of attempted kidnapping; conspiracy to commit kidnapping and threat of death. Luis Urbina was additionally charged with the crime of escape as he escaped from police and thereafter he was recaptured and remanded to prison.”
