New gospel album released

“Christian people, Are You Ready?” is the title of an album just released by Peter Velasquez. The CD is a first for Velasquez, who says it was not hard for him to compose the songs.

“I am a person who love to meditate and most of the time… I use to work along with the government and I use to be out in the woods a lot. Whenever I am there sitting alone on my big front-end loader, these songs would just come into my mind and into my head. I would just meditate on them, put them on a piece of paper and write them down and rehearse them. Then when I went home I got a guitar and I start putting these verses together.”

Most of the songs are originals and have both punta and reggae rhythm. If you would like a copy of the CD, they are being sold for thirty dollars each at the Baptist Bookstore at number seven Central American Boulevard, near Malics store.
