Man Found Dead in the North; Did He Drown?
In other news, an Orange Walk man was found dead in a pond. Police say that no injuries were observed on the body and it is suspected that Nolasco Gonzalez, a resident of Santa Martha Village, drowned. A post-mortem is scheduled to take place to determine the cause of death. Senior Superintendent of Police Hilberto Romero shares the details of the incident.

“Balthazar Campos, fifty-five-year-old Belizean, reported that he made checks for Nolasco Gonzalez on the Santa Martha Road where he found Nolasco Gonzalez motionless in a pond of water. Information is that Nolasco Gonzalez was repairing a water pump in the pond when he fell and thereafter his body was found. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause of the death.”
