Shyne returns to Belize on Wednesday
Prime Minister Dean Barrow’s son, Jamal “Shyne” Barrow is heading home. Shyne has served almost nine years in prison for assault and reckless endangerment following a shooting at a Manhattan nightclub in 1999. The Prime Minister wrote to New York Governor seeking pardon for his son, but the news is that he is coming home this Wednesday. Shyne left Belize at an early age and this will be the first time he will return to the homeland. News Five has confirmed that the rap singer is scheduled to arrive in Belize onboard Continental Airlines. While he is in Belize, Shyne’s appeal for pardon to re-enter will be in progress in the U.S. That appeal will be dealt with Shyne’s legal Counsel, Professor Charles Ogletree. While serving time at the Woodbourne Correctional Facility, he converted to Judaism and changed his name to Moses Michael Leviy.
