Grace Primary gets new instruments

Governor General, Sir Colville Young, in keeping with his promise to provide a positive outlet to showcase the musical talents of Belizean children, has made another generous donation of musical instruments to a primary school. Today, the ceremonies took place at the Grace Primary School where the principal, staff and students received a bass drum, snare drums, bugles and cymbals. The gift worth three thousand dollars was made possible by grants from UNESCO and Food for the Poor Incorporated, an American charitable institution. In accepting the instruments, Principal Morna Sheppard thanked the Governor General for his presentation and promised to make good use and take care of the instruments.
