Two suspects arrested in Blake murder

Police have finally made an arrest in the murder of Therese Blake. Twenty-nine year old police corporal Rodwell Richards and Ernest Kemp, a twenty-eight year old stevedore of Cemetery Road in Belize City are tonight at the Hattieville Prison after being denied bail this morning. Both men were arrested on Friday, October twenty-seventh, for abetment to murder and conspiracy to abet the crime of murder. They were formally charged on Saturday and appeared in Court today to answer the charges. The two are charged for allegedly plotting to murder Blake, just over two weeks ago in the vicinity of her home on Newtown Barracks. Sources close to the investigation told News Five that in about two weeks time the other suspects involved should be arrested.
