Lord Ashcroft Relief Fund Has Dispersed $3.75 Million So Far

Here is an update on the Lord Ashcroft Relief Fund of ten million dollars.  The most recent donation is for five hundred thousand dollars, which was made to the Belize Red Cross.  So far, we can report that the Fund has dispersed three point seven five million dollars, which includes two point four million dollars used to obtain medical equipment to combat COVID-19.  The Hope Haven Centre on Ambergris Caye received a hundred thousand dollars from the Relief Fund. The money is being invested in people, helping them to get through this very difficult time when joblessness abounds. Hope Haven has released, and we share with you, an uplifting video showing how volunteers are assisting with food distribution efforts.
