Safiyyah knows the hot spots for entertainment
Easter is a week away, but you don’t have to wait till then for entertainment. Municipalities throughout the country have been gearing up with activities to entertain families during the day and adults at night. Saffiyah has hunted and found a fair, a teen event and even an art exhibit. Here she is with all the hot spots for this weekend.
Hey I’m Safiyyah and this is What’s Happening Belize. Well this is the last weekend before Easter break next week and there is plenty for you to do.
Tonight there will be a Heineken Happy Hour Special at Flavaz. Flavaz, located on Craig Street, will have specials on Heineken Buckets and lots of food on sale. This happy hour will run up until Midnight tonight.
In Orange Walk there will be a Teen Easter Madness this Saturday night. This dance geared towards getting all the teens hype for their Easter break, will be held inside the Crystal Palace Auditorium in Orange Walk Town. The party will run from seven p.m. to twelve midnight. Tickets are eight dollars in advance and ten dollars at the door.
If you’re an art fan then you can check out Pen Cayetano’s new art exhibit at the Bliss called Roots Life. This Art show will be on display until the second of May.
On the actual weekend of Easter, San Ignacio and Santa Elena will be having their grand Easter Fair on the eleventh and twelfth of April. This fair will be held at the Victor Galvez stadium and will begin at ten a.m. on both days. There will be mechanical rides, giant slides, horse back riding and greasy pole. There will be lots to eat and drink all day and night. There will also be a dance on Saturday and Sunday featuring Gilharry Seven and the New Sensation Band and guest DJs.
