Faber Still in the Race for U.D.P. Leader

“Faber for Party Leader” is a campaign slogan that former Deputy Prime Minister Patrick Faber very much intends to revive once the existing COVID-19 threat subsides.  Faber told the media this afternoon that his leadership ambition for the United Democratic Party remains alive and that he plans to resume all vote seeking activities ahead of a leadership convention upon the country returning to a state of normalcy.

“I’ve said from the start of the whole COVID-19 issue that has to take a backburner to everything else.  You’re right, we are moving towards normal once again, however new that normal is and all I will say is that my ambition to be the leader of the party has not diminished; my application is still alive and kicking.  I have no intention of withdrawing it and when the time is right we will revive the campaign full speed.”
