Love FM informs nation during crisis

Every disaster produces its share of heroes…and Keith is no exception. During the drama of the last few days there is no doubt that dozens of Belizeans performed extraordinary acts of courage or generosity. We cannot attempt to catalogue them all, but we can single out one of our own for special recognition. Proving that Mitch was no fluke, the folks at Love FM once again showed that when the nation needs them, the Love crew is there. Using a superb nationwide network and multiplicity of back up facilities Rene Villanueva and company, often broadcasting from flooded studios on Freetown Road, kept the country informed at a time when every little wobble of Keith was of critical importance. On behalf of thousands of Belizeans we’d like to thank the entire staff of Love and all its correspondents for a job well done.
