Dangriga man dies in bike knockdown
An 82-year old resident of Dangriga has died after being hit by a car on the Stann Creek Valley Road. Augustus Cayetano was riding his bicycle toward Dangriga Thursday evening when before reaching mile 3, he was struck by a gray Toyota. The driver, 25-year old Michael Ramirez, told police that Cayetano was riding across the road when he hit him. Cayetano was pronounced dead on arrival at Southern Regional Hospital.
