PC Rodriguez Slapped with Several Charges

Mark Rodriguez

PC Mark Rodriguez was arrested and charged for several offenses, including S.O.E. violations and for refusing to provide a specimen. He was arraigned and released on bail on Monday. Rodriguez says that aside from being a victim of police brutality, he was charged unfairly for offenses he did not commit.

Mark Rodriguez, Alleges Police Brutality

“I got six charges. One is unable to provide reason for movement outside of curfew. Assaulting a police officer who is namely Aaron Gamboa, the assistant superintendent of police, harm against the same Aaron Gamboa, reckless driver because he pressured the corporal to levy these charges. Fail to provide specimen which is blood or urine and indecent words against the said Aaron Gamboa. Okay man if I parked at my house already I don’t see and that was a little bit after seven right I know the curfew is from eight the night until five in the morning. However it was just after seven, not eight. Now my vehicle parked in my yard, I am in my house. The reason for failure to give specimen, the corporal that charged me he did not see me driving any vehicle. That is reason I failed to give urine because I told him I am in my house. Mister Gamboa brought you here, did you see me drive any vehicle to levy that charge? He said no but let’s go.”
