ComPol Williams Says Police Officers Were Wrong

Chester Williams

Complaints of police abuse have been persistent and Commissioner Chester Williams spoke of the incident while in the San Victor area.  He says the Head of the Professional Standard Branch has been deployed to investigate the allegation made by Galindo.  According to Williams, based on what he has seen, the officers are wrong because there is no justification for the painful burning of Galindo’s nipples.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police

“I got the complaint yesterday and I immediately contacted Mister Sutherland who is the commander of PSB and dispatched him to San Ignacio yesterday. I know he has recorded statements from the two brothers as well as witnesses. They have also gathered some video footage that they are viewing and from what I am seeing the police officers are wrong and they have to face the consequences for their actions. There is no justification for you to burn a person’s nipple. I don’t see the rationale behind it at all.”
