Taiwan Vice President will visit Belize
While the Deputy Prime Minister is flexing his diplomatic muscles at the UN another nation’s deputy leader will soon be visiting Belize. In this case Taiwan’s number two man is a lady. Vice President of the Republic of China, Annette Lu, will arrive for a short overnight visit on September 28th as part of a familiarisation tour of Central America. She will lead a high level delegation, which includes cabinet ministers, legislators and public officers. During her visit Vice President Lu will meet with Prime Minister Musa, pay a courtesy call on the Governor General and inspect various development projects supported by her government. She will also hold discussions with members of the Taiwanese community in Belize. A press conference is scheduled for the night of September 28th.
