Fuel prices reach highest levels
Belizeans who woke up on Tenth morning with a goma were forced to take another dose of Tylenol when they went to the gas station. As of Sunday, fuel prices at the retail pump increased by an average of over a shilling per gallon, the result of higher acquisition costs. World crude oil prices are at an all time high and most experts do not see major relief in the near future, even if the OPEC suppliers increase their production. The new prices are $5.75 for premium gasoline, $5.50 for regular, $3.25 for kerosene and $4.25 for diesel.
