Burglars hit Dangriga businessman
The police need your help in trying to locate a number of items that were stolen sometime early this morning in Dangriga. According to Dean Joseph, the owner of Dangriga Photo Plus, the thief or thieves gained entrance into the building by prying open a back door. Once inside, the burglar took $11,570 worth of electronic equipment including cameras, televisions, VCRs, film, watches and other jewelry. Also stolen was $150 in cash. Joseph says it’s the first time that his establishment has been broken into since he opened for business eight years ago. According to Dangriga police, the heist is one of the town’s biggest in recent years. They have no suspects at this time but are looking for one Neru Sanker, who they believe may be able to assist them in their investigation. If you have any information that can help solve this case, you are asked to contact Corporal Ramirez at the Dangriga police station. Meanwhile the general public is being advised to be wary of anyone offering you a deal on electronic equipment that seems too good to be true.
