Gun found in Hattieville Prison cell
One firearm that never made it to the cash for guns depot has been found in–of all places–a cell at Hattieville Prison. The thirty-eight special and two rounds of ammunition were discovered on Monday during a routine search of the medium/max section. The weapon was found in a cell occupied by Andrew Kelly and Jason Flowers. The pair are reported to be among the hardest of Hattieville inmates and in March escaped from the institution together, only to be captured soon afterwards. In addition to weapons offences, the pair are also expected to be charged with making death threats against the prison governor and other officials.
