C-JAMM forms new group

It’s coming closer to Carnival time and one mas band intends to raise your body temperature and burn up the competition. C-JAMM recently formed a smaller group called Bodies on Fire, which is putting on a couple of mini performances to entice the public to join and support them. Today we spoke with one of the organizers of Bodies on Fire about their upcoming performances.

“Right now we’re trying to bring out a little bit of the tourism, almost like promoting tourism. This dance is like culture dance, we have Punta, the African, the salsa, Jennifer Lopez and the little American dance. This dance will take place at the Lumba Yaad on Friday and the twenty-sixth on Saturday at the Odyssey Night Club. The tourists usually have no where to go Friday and coming on to the weekend, or they would go to the cayes. So we are asking the hotels to bring out the tourists and let them have a little fun in the city. Bring them to the Lumba Yaad and enjoy Belize while they’re here. They can see the girls dance and it’s just ten dollars. It starts at 10:30 p.m.”
