San Joaquin resident still missing

Story PictureToday is the fifth day since forty-four year old Enrique Ricardo Magana went missing without a trace from his home in San Joaquin Village, Corozal and family members still have no clue on his whereabouts. The family says Magana’s disappearance is strange because he has never stayed away. On Saturday morning when he left home around seven, he told his wife that he was transporting a fare. That was the last time that Viola Magana saw her husband. Police sources tell News Five that they were summoned to the Magana’s residence earlier that morning to settle a domestic dispute but a relative has denied this saying that there was no altercation or argument. Magana’s main means of income is by transporting children from the village to school on weekdays. Family member told News Five today that they are stunned by what police found in Magana’s abandoned van on the Consejo Road: empty ibuprofen pill packets, car keys and Magana’s passport. A reward of four thousand dollars is being offered for information leading to his whereabouts.
