Anna’s Store in Independence is Robbed; Named Suspect Being Sought
Meanwhile in Independence Village, ACP Joseph Myvett says that police in that area are looking for a known suspect in a robbery at Anna’s Store in the village. While the robber was not armed, police say that the proprietor was pinned to the ground before he was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money. It would seem that the robber had a change of clothes because Myvett says that a number of items were discovered in proximity to the scene, which are believed to belong to the perpetrator.
