Official Police Report on Cow Pen Fratricide

Police also spoke today about this latest murder. ACP Joseph Myvett told the media that the men were intoxicated and they believe that contributed to what transpired. Here’s the police’s official report after they were called out to the scene later that night.

“An investigation was carried out where police found out that both Antonio Pop and Christopher Pop were are at the residence consuming alcohol when a misunderstanding started over a cell phone belonging to Christopher. As a result, he took out a knife and inflected stab wounds to his brother who is now deceased and made good his escape. He was later captured sometime yesterday morning pending the investigation and late yesterday evening he was formally arrested and charged for the crime of murder. The cell phone belonged to the accused and it couldn’t be located. We are of the opinion that based on their state of intoxication based on witnesses’ account this may have led to the fatal stabbing.”
