Another Chinese shop robbed at gunpoint
Another Chinese owned business in Belize City has been hit by hoodlums. Wu Dongsi, the proprietor of Coa Kauy shop on Ebony Street, told police he was robbed around 8:30 on Thursday night. Two dark skinned men entered the store armed with a gun and a knife. One of them held the firearm close to Wu’s throat and demanded his money. The men made a hasty escape with six thousand U.S. dollars. No arrests have yet been made, but the public is asked to be on the alert for a foul odor, as the robbers also made off with six packs of King Edward cigars.
