Motorcycle Knocks Down Toddler in Orange Walk

A toddler in Orange Walk narrowly escaped serious injuries on Wednesday afternoon. A surveillance camera on Park Street captured when a motorcycle hit the little girl as she ran across the street. As is seen in the video, a taxi pulls up and a man and the young girl exited, as well as a woman and two other children. The man leads the child to the side walk across the street and turns back to pay the taxi fare. As he turns to face the child, she attempts to run back across the street and that is when a motorcycle drove up and knocked her over on the street. The video shows as the cycle stopped and the man rushes over to the child as she scrambles to get up. The little girl received only minor injuries in the accident.
