Christian Bailey granted Bail
A construction worker of the Mile eight community on the George Price Highway, who is accused of breaking into a man’s home and removing home appliances and other possessions amounting to over thrifty-five thousand dollars, was lucky to get bail when his attorneys appeared before Supreme Court Justice Colin Williams today. Christian Bailey was charged with burglary at a house at Mile eleven on the same highway, a house belonging to Philip Andrewin. Police alleges that on July eleventh, Bailey forced his way in and cleaned out the house of all its furniture, fixtures and appliances. Bailey had attorneys Dickie Bradley and Leeroy Banner argue for bail on his behalf. He was granted the bail, but on strict conditions: he must not interfere with the witnesses through any means, must sign in at the Mahogany Street Police Station every week, must not leave the country without the permission of a Supreme Court Judge, must appear at the Magistrate’s Court on September fourteenth, and must not be charged with an indictable offense while this matter is still before the Court.
