Lions elect new president
The
Lions of Belize have a new leader. He is Dr. Chris Bennett. Bennett was
installed in ceremonies held on Sunday in Belize City. His plans for the
2000-2001 year include the revival of commitments from existing clubs
in District Fifty-Nine and the formation of new clubs in downtown Belize
City, Ladyville, Burrell Boom, Caye Caulker, San Ignacio, San Narciso,
Placencia, Orange Walk and Punta Gorda. Bennett succeeds Leonides Cuellar
as president.
