Armed Thieves Storm Residence in Maya Mopan
While police have cracked the MADISCO robbery, they are investigating a Belmopan robbery. A quartet of armed thieves stormed the residence of Gloria Tush in the Maya Mopan neighbourhood over the weekend. While they relieved her of several items, they ransacked the property and insisted on finding the whereabouts of the owner a vehicle that was parked nearby.

“On Saturday, sometime around nine a.m., police were called to Last Mountain Street in the Maya Mopan area where Gloria Tush reported to them that sometime around nine a.m., while she was at home, she was approached by four Hispanic males who were armed and they entered her home where searches were conducted while they inquired from her where was the driver of the truck. She was alone at the time. The persons then took some of her electronic items and made good their escape. Police are investigating this matter and are following several leads at this time.”
