Corozal man dead in hit and run
An apparent hit and run on the Northern Highway has left a Corozal man dead. On Friday night around eleven, the body of Gregorio Jimenez, a mason of Alta Mira area, Corozal Town, was found on the highway between miles eighty-five and eighty-six. He was lying face down with multiple injuries to his head. The body awaits a post-mortem while police continue to look for witnesses or evidence to identify the driver and vehicle, which caused Jimenez’s death.
