Two wounded in ride by shooting
A weekend shooting incident in Belize City, has left two men wounded, one seriously. Twenty-three year old Jerry Bush, and eighteen year old George Mathews were walking on Bocotora Street when a man rode up next to them on a bicycle and fired several gunshots at them. Bush was struck by bullets in the left hand and foot and Matthews received critical injuries to his back. The incident was reported to Police by Rupert Kelly, who was accompanying Bush and Mathews but was not injured. Police have identified a suspect and are presently seeking to apprehend him.
