Guatemalan charged in Belmopan chopping

Police have arrested and charged a Guatemalan man for a murder last week in Belmopan. Normando Garcia, of San Martin Village, was formally charged for the killing of nineteen-year old Julio Guzman on July twenty-third. Guzman was found bleeding profusely from machete wounds in a drain between the villages of Maya Mopan and Salvapan and died shortly after arriving at Belmopan Hospital.
