Semi Pro basketball season in doubt

Usually by this time of the year the semi pro basketball season would be heading toward a climax and Friday night would find the City Centre rocking. Not so in the new millennium as the Belize Basketball Association has had its share of troubles getting the thrice postponed season off the bench. Today News Five spoke to Secretary of the Belize Basketball Association, Nellie Trench who told us that tonight there will be a do or die meeting of all executive members of the association along with teams who are interested in playing for this semi pro season. By tomorrow we should know whether things are on or off.
