Thieves Net $30K during Early Morning Heist
Not far from Ladyville where Orin Velasquez was murdered, in Lord’s Bank, brazen robbers also broke into a house. The early morning heist netted thieves a reported thirty thousand dollars, according to persons in the know. At five o’clock this morning, Ladyville Police responded to a 911 call which led them to Lord’s Bank Store. There, they met a seventeen-year-old male minor who reported to them that at around two-thirty in the morning, he was awakened by a man who was dressed in full black. The intruder held the minor at gunpoint and then tied him up while five thieves ransacked the house. The young man was alone at the time of the crime. Security footage shows the five masked men breaking into the building through a glass window to the south of the structure. The robbers stole a safe reportedly containing the cash. No one was injured during the heist, but the minor was traumatized.
