Last graduation for Belize Teacher’s College

The Belize Teachers College will be holding it’s final graduation on Sunday July twenty-third, in the St. John’s College Gym. One hundred and fifty-five teachers will be graduating, fifty-seven from the Level two program and ninety-six from Level one. Guest speaker for the commencement exercise will be Professor Errol Miller, Director of the University of the West Indies’ Institute of Education. Belize Teacher’s College, which was established in 1965, will, as of August first be merged with four other tertiary level institutions to form the University of Belize. The College will then be known as the faculty of education.
