Two wounded in Belize City shootings

An argument between two brothers ended in one of them being shot last night. According to police, Earl and Deshawn Nunez got into a misunderstanding at their house on Lakeview Street when Deshawn took out a gun and shot his brother, Earl in the knee. Earl was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he is in a stable condition.

In another incident on Monday night, twenty-one year old Charles Usher received gun shot wounds to his leg while walking on Neal Penn Road. Usher told police that he was accosted by a dreadlocked man in a vehicle who asked him if he knew who he was messing with. The man then allegedly fired several shots at Usher. He is now in the KHMH in a stable condition. No one has been detained in either incident.
