Offshore insurance regulators meet in Cayo
Insurance regulators from offshore jurisdictions around the globe are meeting this week in Belize. The Offshore Group of Insurance Supervisors is being hosted by Belize’s office of the Supervisor of Insurance. The three days of discussions at the conference centre of Cayo’s Chaa Creek Resort feature speakers from the United States, Cayman Islands, Guernsey and other international insurance centres. Guest speaker for today’s opening session was Acting Financial Secretary Joe Waight.
