Business Owners Encouraged to be Vigilant

In recent weeks, we have been reporting on a string of robberies across the country, including Belmopan. Today, police encouraged business owners to be vigilant and call the police if they observe suspicious persons around their property.

“We do encourage more businesses to be vigilant and as you know some businesses have put up on their entrance that no peak caps or hoods and some glasses are allowed  and so that would be dependent on the business whether or not they want to put those policies in place. However, if there is any suspicious activity outside, we encourage them to immediately call the police.”
