Co-workers fight, one stabbed

They say that familiarity breeds contempt and in the case of two employees of a Belize City business establishment, it also bred violence. Twenty-seven year old Arton Bowen, a sales representative of Mala’s store on New Road was stabbed with a knife four times by his co-worker. According to sources, Bowen and the messenger, Keon Joseph had an ongoing personal feud which erupted Tuesday evening around 5:15 and resulted in Bowen being stabbed in his arm, shoulder and upper chest. Bowen was rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he is currently being treated. Meanwhile police have detained Joseph, but no charges have been made as their investigations continue.
