Suicides in Toledo and Orange Walk
Police are investigating two suicides, which occurred Thursday at opposite ends of the country. In Toledo, police found the lifeless body of thirty-four year old Steven Kevin Coleman hanging from a nylon rope wrapped around his neck and tied to a wooden beam on the verandah of his house in Forest Home Village. A post mortem was conducted at the Punta Gorda Hospital where it was concluded that he died from asphyxia due to hanging. Coleman, who was found at about five-thirty Thursday morning, was employed as driver and mechanic and up to newstime police have no leads as to why he took his own life. In Orange Walk, according to reports, at about seven o’clock Thursday morning thirty-four year old Felix Ortega of Audinette Alley drank some Diaginon Pesticide in the presence of one of his relatives. He died shortly after. As in the previous suicide, police do not know the motive for his death, but continue to investigate.
