Cayo Man Charged for Unlicensed Firearm

In other crime news, police have arrested a man in the west for an unlicensed firearm. Police say that a patrol unit encountered Nectali Yeh walking with the unlicensed firearm in his hand. Here’s more from Assistant Commissioner of Police Joseph Myvett.

“While San Ignacio Police were on patrol on Bullet Tree Road in San Ignacio Town they came across a Hispanic male person armed with a handgun whose name was later learnt to be Nectali Yeh, twenty-four-year-old of Bullet Tree. At the time he had in his possession a chrome and black twenty-two revolver. As a result, he was detained and the revolver taken away from him. He has since been arrested and charged for being in possession of a firearm for which a license has not been granted to him.”
