55-Year-Old Man Stabbed to Chest on Johnson Street in Belize City
Police are looking for a man in connection with a stabbing incident on Saturday in Belize City. Fifty-five-year-old Aubrey Brown lives alone in a small wooden house on Johnson Street and while socializing with another man, an argument ensued. Brown was stabbed to the right side of the chest around one a.m.; he was later discovered by police lying on the ground near his house. His assailant fled the scene and now police are in search of him. Senior Superintendent Hilberto Romero says that at this time, the nature of the argument is unknown.

“Around 1:30 a.m., police responded to a chopping incident on Johnson Street, Belize City. Upon their arrival, they found Aubrey Brown with a chop wound to the chest. He was taken to the K.H.M.H. for treatment. After, he reported that he was along with another male person at his house when they got into an argument and the male person chopped him to the chest. We are seeing that one suspect at this time. Brown is in a stable condition.”
