ABC Shop is Targeted by Armed Robbers
A grocery store on Central American Boulevard in Belize City was targeted by armed thieves over the weekend. On Sunday evening, ABC Shop owner was robbed of three thousand dollars in cash by two masked gunmen who held him up and demanded that he turned over the money from the cash register. He complied and the robbers quickly escaped from the area. Police were called in, but up to news time the investigators are still trying to determine the suspects of this aggravated robbery.

“On Sunday, there was a robbery at ABC Store on Central American Boulevard. Wei Zu reported that he was at his store when two male persons who had on masks entered and pulled a firearm. They then proceeded to rob him of three thousand dollars Belize currency and thereafter the male persons fled from the area. We have no suspects at this time.”

“Has there been any other robbery in that area in recent days?”

“Is there any idea if this may have been some kind of internal doings in terms of that robbery?”

“That is part of the investigation. The investigators are looking into that and that will be determined.”
